Turned out to be a worthwhile movie. Too sentimental? It's based on a true story about some "losers" who became winners during that down and out time of the American Depression of the 1930's.Not a perfect movie, but kept my interest until the end. Too bad they had that scene in the Mexican brothel. May keep some moms from letting their kids go to see it.
Follow Ups:
A surprisingly good move. I suspected it to be the usual over-the-top Hollywood crap, however, it's surprisingly well done with some splendid cinematography and stellar use of sound.
