Films/DVD Asylum

Hi,
I had this idea for a film based on the comic adaption of SLAINE who appeared in 2000ad comic.

The Slaine character had some great illustrations of a hero who roamed the land in kind of medi-evil times and encountered some really scary monsters.

I thought that this would make a great adaption and Mel Gibson would be an ideal choice.

Has anybody read Slaine?
Would make an awsome film?
