Over the course of summer and fall I saw this film approx 40 times. Contrary to my normal pattern I liked it more and more. I think I was falling in love with Uma Thurman. The assistant editor told me timing was good as Uma is available. I mentioned I was married, but the editor told me just explain to your wife that it's Uma Thurman, she'll understand. Kill Bill is a very entertaining 2 hours that caused me to eat a lot of Sushi.
Follow Ups:
Black Mumba may be slightly different from what you imagine.
I saw their house that happened to be next to the restraurant I was in. She serenaded her husband when they were walking in the door; wasn't too bad, either. You convinced me - I have to see it again on a better screen this time.
BTW I failed to mention I was working on the film getting paid for everyone of the 40 times, and have only seen it complete and in proper order twice.I pulled up to work one day with about 2 weeks left in the mix on Kill Bill and to my surprise the truck "Pussy Wagon" is parked in front of the building in the spot reserved for QT. Seems he kept it after the filming and drives it from time to time. I wonder what the soccor moms tell their SUV full of kids that it means ? "That man is a cat lover" ?
In the Vol.1 trailers of Mumba having a go at it with a Chinese monk, but it's not in the Vol.1.
I suppose they are giving us a little taste of vol.2?
