Don't forget Kino's release of "Come and See"(which I have) is actually the Ruscico release.
The package is Kino and the 2 dvds have paper "Kino" stickers over the Ruscico name on each dvd. I believe it is still available directly from Kino.I also have both the Ruscico release of "War and Peace" and "Anna Karenina". I still have not watched them ; waiting for the appropriate mood to allow a total immersion.

Well, Come and See is definitely not my favorite movie, spending on a rental was more than I would be willing to pay for it. My wife woud pay to have the tape thrown out, actually... but she is much more sensitive than I am.Did you like it?
That particular "Anna" I have not seen, but you would have to bribe me rather heavily to see Samoilova in the title role... and Zarkhy is not a good director, I think,... but let us know how it goes down.
I noticed their list is sprinkled with wery weak films - their selectin seems to be quite haphazard.
But good luck with W&P... while not the bst film ever, it is something to appreciate.
