It is hard to imagine the lines from the foreign films making it into the American life.Any examples? I can't think of one.
Those lines usually resonate much better in the local cultures.
Which is why none came to mind in listing my examples. But of course that doesn't mean that there aren't many, many truly great films from all over the world.
Of course that doesn't mean that, but your question was about films that contributed memorable lines to the culture.
