All I see are the vhs copies.

Do you have the tape? Amazon has it for $7.40... apparently the film didn't go down too well with the American public. But then they also have the Passenger for under twelve bucks... so go figure.
I don't have it, only saw on tv. I don't know if you and Anya would like it though.
We thought it was a good movie, for sure, but one of those that leave you with bad taste in your mouth after watching it. It is rather depressing, and now that all that "reality" (or nightmare) is behind us it is becoming somewhat academic... who knows, in a few years we might view it all like we view the ancient Greece... don't you think so?
I don't know if it'll go quietly. It'll probably stay as a cult movie.Post-perestroika Moscow made a darn good set, but the questions were eternal, talent visavis mediocrity; the music made it all the better. I liked it, but it was maybe 5 years ago.
I'll have to look on Brighton. They have a lot of Russian dvds.
Any wants?
I am going by my memory of at least 10 years... so if you get the DVD I will glady borrow it. If you see the DVD of Waterloo, get it for me, otherwise I will have to rely on your taste and knowledge of the recent Russian stuff. Are those real DVD's or VCD's?
I'll see if I can get some catalogues. Most of these guys are on the net as well, I'm sure.
