In Reply to: Is Benicio del Toro the best of the post-Pacino/DeNiro/Nicholson posted by tinear on December 03, 2003 at 06:35:09:
Fear and loathing in las Vegas Del toro and depp together. Depp's performance is unusual and creative. Del toro is great as well.
Ever see dead man? Depp plays a character who is at the mercy of his environment, but his performance is powerful and haunting. I like the actor who starred in Quiz show (the snitch). He commands attention in a uniquely subtle way.:o)

I have enjoyed his acting for a long time now...when I posted, I had a mind block and was just too darned lazy to do a search. He was fantastic and usually is.What is with the John Ritter info? I'm confused with that....please explain yourself young man!

fans of John Ritter a few weeks/months back and you mentioned a couple of comedy roles he had been in I hadnt yet seen; your comment for one being that he made a wonderful drunk?!
Anyway, unfortunately my information is correct, he died a week short of his 55th birthdayEric
at least he went out with a bang and not a whimper...approached death with full gusto (if you can find anything positive about death...at the least he did not suffer greatly) I am suprised you had just heard of the news though. His "drunk" was comedic perfection. He was just the "guy next door." You felt you could see him at a barbeque and he would be just your average joe. I miss him too.
