I'll never forgive Gibson for ruining "Bounty". He wandered through looking vague, vaguely shocked, and vaguely English. I am going to look up the casting director's name and avoid any other movie with that credit.
And there's also his incomprehensible vanity version of "Hamlet", which in that case I call "Hamfat", but perhaps I shouldn't mention it so near lunchtime.
But yes, he was fun in "Mad Max". What happened?

brought up Mel's "Madham." Only Ethan Hawke saved him by soiling the Bard's work even more.
Of course, we can all breathe a GIANT sigh of relief that Keanu Reeves didn't follow through on his threat also to "star" in his own version. I believe he was going to "warm up" by trotting the boards in Canada. These three make one wish Tony Curtis had given it a shot...
