I've been pretty excited about NetFlix but must report that my SIXTH rental went missing in return mail. Does this happen often? I wonder how much "slack" is built into the system for loss before they start trying to charge you for them? Any ideas?

I've averaged 15 movies a month for the last 6 months and had one outright loss and one or 2 go missing for about 10 days. They were peerfectly willing to eat that first loss.
The impression I get is after about 3 outright losses, they get stiff with you.
I've had one missing disc in four years so I can't really answer your question. Maybe your postman is building a DVD collection :)
Usually it is three-days both ways. It's been ten days now--so, it's a week late getting back.
