Welcome back!
Follow Ups:
That is an attraction. But I find just a few times a year satisfies that craving. And what do I find here after a long hiatus? Victor taking potshots at Citizen Kane (Blasphemer!) and waaay too much discussion about LOTR!
And someone needs to talk to AuPh - Merlot on New Years Eve? And probably a Texas Merlot!
;^)PS: We'll be popping corks on some champaign at a party tonight, as well!
I just had some Italian wine, heavy as crude oil, and I say - NO to Merlot!
any wine lover who appreciates strength and sublety---and the skill to bring them together.
hooray for cabernet!
Actually, there's a terrific Chilean merlot under the Santa Rita label. Also Vendange.

In Vino Veritas
I need the substance and well, body, you know... Although I have had some Merlot what was HEAVY and full-bodied... of course it also cost a lot, so maybe next year, with better economy!BTW - it was Shiraz last year too.
:o)
8^)
And do hope it will stay that way.
I could not bring up the thing with the Merlot..too soon after the LOTR affair.....Bonne année!
