As a writer, photographer and illustrator, I know all too well the pitfalls and frustrations of copyright theft.I suppose for me it's a question of expense. LOTR is already over 100 million at the box office. There's just SO much $ involved with the movie industry that they'll not miss my 10 bucks.
All the dollar houses areound here are truly disgusting. I'd have to bring a plastic tarp to sit on.

As a Hollywood guild member and sound engineer I'm glad to hear you think we've made enough money. You obviously don't have a clue about what it costs to make a film or about how many lose money before a hit comes around. Just how do you go about choosing your point of conscionable theft ? Is it after 10mil or 20mil or 50mil ?If Walmart has 80 Xbox in the display is it OK to heist one, but not OK if they only have 20 ? Grow up and pay others for their efforts as you expect to be paid for yours.
Hey Steve, I have friends behind the camera too. You've already been paid long before the movie hits the street. The people making money off the gross are the ones that are already overpaid. As of 12/28, LOTR has grossed $228 millon. Who cares about my 10 bucks?
Your Xbox analogy is off the mark. I equate slipping into a second movie after paying for the first to be the equivalent of bringing pens home from work.
I buy most of my DVDs and CDs on the used market. The used market is flooded with free promotional copies. You pissed at me about buying those too?
