get the Dino Risi film (which I believe you said you had ordered) "The Easy Life" (Il Sorpasso)? Gassman AND a very young Trintingant---and a certain luscious young blond...
Also, I found my wine notes!
The Riesling you sent which I devoured in its radiant youth:
Rhenigau
Kloster Eberbach
2001
Steinburg.
It was delightful...
Follow Ups:
Nothing to do! The Parisian send me a list of internet addresses where I may find this film...I tried them all..no chance!
...if you talk to the people in "Il Corriere della Sera"...Do you have any friends in Italy?
Luck. Regards
BF
Thank you! The problem is that my Italian is very....poor. I need at least some subtitles.
They have the film..but NO online shop..so I wrote them....Wait and see...
Niet! Curiously I was thinking of it two or three days ago...I think I will make another try right now....It was on " stand by " but nothing did happen..
Was it not a " Becker "?
sorry, mon ami, but I am not sure. It had a label with some red on it, if that helps. It was...very nice!
Drunk ? We spoke not long ago about it! You ask me if he was a relative of " Johnny Beker " !
But the wine I send you was from who? Now I am not quite certain! As I have wines from the Closter Eberbach too!
But I am quite certain that it was a " Becker ".
Steinburg? There nothing like this....
I was drunk on 2 1/2 glasses (we always share wine equally, the secret to a happy marriage!)!
It MAY have said Becker, but I don't remember. Remember, you sent two bottles. This one was the youngest and you suggested it "lie down" for awhile.
I copied "Steinberg" so I'm assuming it had something to do with the wine, i.e. origin?
Yes, Steinberg, but in your first post you wrote Steinburg...that is why I was baffled!
The other bottle was a Becker.
But you drank it WAY to young! Bad boy.
If we do another bet, and IF I happen to loose again I will send you only an older one...Ready to drink.....
it perished too soon. Unlike Dean's, this death caused great happiness!
