This really is pornography posing as art posing as pornography. I have a high tolerance for nihilism but this pushes anyones limit.

Its pretty hard to say what the Director was trying to achieve with this; I think its another in the vein of "Kalifornia","Man Bites Dog" or "Natural Born Killers", "Baise" easilly the worst of this bad bunch, but if you want to see a really creepy and utterly nihilistic antihero; Jean Hughes Anglade as Eric in "Killing Zoe" is hard to beat, Warren Oates as Benny in "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia", a Sam Peckinpah film, is every bit as noir but with more humor
