I'm not lookiing specifically for Asian, that just seems where the creative surge seems to be lately.

I am sure you will love the Audition - it is a shocker.The other two are different. The 301/302 is a more elegant fare, and the Cyclo is all about the internal horror, not too direct.
Steve is probably the greatest expert on Asian films, so you might try pinging him.
If you are looking for a film that will cause strong negative emotions (isn't that horror?) then the Russian Come and See is that sort of film.
And I don't know if you seen Salo, but that is certain to make most people's pants wet.
I'm nnore interested in mood/atmosphere than sheer shock.
I'll look into those mentioned.
The problem is, my wife spooks really easily.:-(
