Low budget film that people seem to either love or hate. I grew up in a different era, but the characters(and the types of conversations and problems) were very familiar to me. I enjoyed this movie a lot. Wondering if anyone else here has seen it.
Follow Ups:
I liked it. Green and Orr, the film's director/cinematographer team, also made George Washington , which I liked as well. Visually they're quite beautiful and capture some very poignant human moments. I think they're hobbled somewhat, though, by frequent, overtly "indie" fits of "quirkiness" and amateurishness, which I could do without. Green and Orr are very much influenced by Terrence Malick, and I think I remember reading or hearing somewhere that they'd actually be working with him in some capacity on their next project.
