What�s the problem? Frontal nudity is just the same for man and woman.

        I saw "About Shmidt" twice and loved it both times. Now maybe it's because I myself retired at about the same time but I thought that Nicholson captured the disorietation and "look" of a man in that position. I loved when he saw his life's work thrown away in the rubbish. I loved when he discovered his wife's 25 year old affair. I loved the way his friend's speech made us feel uncomfortable and set us up for Schmidt's speech at his daughter's wedding.
        What's not to like here, except that Jack was not nominated again for best actor.

        H�las mon ami! From the start I did found it overplayed, sticky, pretentious, and boring over the top.
        What you did appreciate in this film I did do ( the condition of the man ) but the rendition was catastrophale.
        PS: The proof? Bernardo did like it.
