Yes a nice film, but after the second viewing it lost most of his charm.
My lust* for films is at the moment damped.
Tonight I wilm have " Touchez pas au grisbi " and tomorrow " Roma ".* My oldest woman employee ( My wife still survise what I did for a living in 1968 )
may have bone metastases, after having TWO breast cancers...Tomorrow will knows more....
Follow Ups:
Grisbi is enjoyable, and Roma - what a firework! I have been meaning to watch it again too.Horrible thing, that cancer... sorry to hear that. My wife these days is like a clearing house for many good ideas - she is in constant contact with several other sufferers, giving them support (some don't have strong families to rely on... imagine that... suffering this alone!) and she is good at disseminating the information.
I hope your friend recovers.
Grisbi must be....40 years or so, the only and last time I saw it! I donīt remember but have you seen " Bob le Flambeur ?". It is worth!! A film thats stay with you ( always a good sign..) As for " Roma " i am quite certain that the magig still works, when I think of the lost of saliva and words on " LOTR " I am ashamed that I did not use my energy for a Fellini instead of a big and noisy caca.
Well, tomorrow we will know if she has bone metastases, her " last "breast cancer was for six years ago, and she is a real fighter! She did all the alternatives treatments imaginable and possible.
Thank you!
Have you received my private Email trhee day ago?
