It was Capraīs " Meet John Doe " with Gary Cooper. An old, but very good film. Humanistic and with a touch that some would call " utopian " but those who donīt feel this way are the real utopians.
Have you seen " The lost Horizon? "
The mother of a lot of films. Fascinant.

Are you sure Hudsucker was molded after Meet John Doe ?The stories are different...
