This Woody Allen comedy from a few years ago is at least as funny as anything he ever did. The laughs come literally one every minute and the tone is consistent all through. Wonderfully cast and highly recommended. T
Follow Ups:
No way! It is a small work, a nice comedy, but not to be compared to his great films.
Recommended it too.
I said it's at least as funny as his early films. I found it had a laugh every minute.
As what? Bananas? Play it again Sam ? Everything you always....Certainly not in the same league as, Annie Hall or Mahattan nor Hannah...The last film I did like was " Deconstructing Harry ".
Our loss.
I think it is as funny as Bananas, Sleeper, Love and Death, Play it
Again, Sam, and Annie Hall. And it has a better story arc than the first three.
Anny Hall has the smell of genuis, which Small Time ..certainly has not.
But we are talking about "funny-ness". AH is much deeper whereas
STC is lighter fare.
Well if you look back, I would pretend to be able to say a definitive " no "!
For the " deeper thing " that is all about it.
