There is also a web site called "The Nitpicker's Site" whwere fans post continuity and other errors in films, some along with refutations or defenses of the filmakers.

That's it--I spent all of 10 minutes at that site, and I'm *never* going back. Real errors seem few and far between, the majority of posts being critiques based on opinion or plain conjecture. What an utter waste of bandiwdth!

...I used to have boss who wrote a 50-page thesis on this very subj. (for "Bladerunner" alone)
Some of the ones on that site are unbelievable. Sample from posts on "Jaws": a guy points out that the lisence plate that Hooper digs out of the shark has an "o" in it whem Louisiana plates of that time only went up to "n". Further, the plate mis-spells "Sportsman's" as "Sportsmen's".
