Yes, both Ran and Kagemusha have wonderful battle scenes too - it would be really nice to see them well transfered.

No, Kagemusha is not available on DVD. Ran is available and I have not yet seen it though I purchased it last week.
BUT, 2001 Space is great on DVD at least for me.
Am going to watch 2010 tonight on DVD.
And I bought a few more - whoops I think I forgot what...
but if you are interested I will let you know.
