Or "behind the fassade", one may choose to rename this movie, so you do think that there are people which life seems perfect? You envy them? or " how are you? A question without real answer, as nobody await a truthful answer.
That is not lifelike. Only in sirupy comedies.
Where is the frontier between the every day mask and the cracks in it?
Where are they in you own very private life?
Sartre like in is inquisitive way to find out the truth, more theater than movie. An introspection that every one should do from time to time. For the sane survival of your subconscient.
This film is about that.
PS: Excellent actors.

Glad you liked it. A warm and insightful study of human souls - volnurable and forever lonely.
Not a perfect film, but one that will grab you and make you think... which is far more than you can say about the majority of films out there.
But... oops... sorry... it is an American film, so perhaps we should not be discussing and praising it?

    I tried to find some of these films you two are always raving about, but they must be available only from the black market. You can't rent them in my area.
