Replace "holding" with "turning up" and you'd be more accurate. I didn't particularly enjoy this movie either. I'm not into the fantasy/sword and sorcery genre myself, particularly when it's presented with homosexual overtones. But why are you taking it so personally that other people enjoy it?You "shall let AuPh celebrate a bit"? Well, isn't that generous of you - to allow someone to praise a film that's *gasp* "more Hollywood than Hollywood itself"?
You admitted to watching TV, but managed to mitigate this faux pas by location (in Russia, where TV is undoubtably superior) and duration (only "sometimes"). But even while stooping to such a common form of entertainment, you "couldn't keet buy wonder - what happened to the formerly formidible Australian movie art", thus retaining the elevation of your proboscis.
In another thread you express "horror" that an Amazon soundtrack search for a Fellini film turned up the Lord of the Rings soundtrack! How did you survive such an insult!
I can only assume you are now awaiting the brief and poorly-written words of praise from your clique-mate in France. Or is it Germany? I forget. There's a fine line between expressing an erudite opinion on a matter of taste and simply being snobbish. You're not even close to that line.

Sorry... was there some point to your post? OK, you cried some more - no news. You recycled some old lies - no news either. You couldn't even read my post properly - your loss. You made a few rather silly and sulking remarks (about the Russian TV... he-he... man, that really hurt... but why me?), then you repeated my joke about the sound track - but why?... and then you tried to insult a good man - and apparently all because no one liked yoru whine?Het life, Dolton, this is getting silly.
BTW - to REALLY get you going, I do think the Rusian TV is superior to the American one. Of course it is also on its slide towards the US model. So put that in your pipe.
Bad electronics, not bad programming. This might be our one area of agreement: that Asian-produced television sets are superior to both Russian and American.
American televisions? Where did you find THOSE? It is easier to find a hooker with no college degree in Russia today, than an American made TV here!
