Polanski? Depressing? Try his Fearless Vampire Killers! This has to be one of the wackiest films ever made. Who cares if the vampires win in the end they're all a bunch of bozos.The depressing part is real life. Sharon Tate's life did not have a happy ending.

Well, name of film is there. Sorry. Have not seen it and couldn't get the review on it. I'm guessing that it isn't Kubrick. Right?

But what about "Death & The Maiden?" Surely "good" wins out in that the protagonist is able to listen to Schubert once again...
Yes, I am wrong on this one. I was was not aware that Polanski had directed this film. I'll have view it.
