  Listen, if you can't stand criticism of your favorite film - then perhaps you should stay home. As I said, many films I love got slammed here, but you are the only one with tantrum over such events.

  And even more insulting is the fact that you like to dish out, but hate to receive it back.

    Look, I have no problem with film criticism, as long as it has some justification and the critic doesn't rely solely on bodily functions or secretions as a rationale for disparaging the target of his angst. This has been your's and Patrick's major failing as armchair sages trying to influence taste and discourse around here.

    When you can come back to me with evidence that my criticism of, for instance, either version of Solaris being a snoozer somehow equates to calling the most popular and successful series of films of all time "kaka", "crap", "sh*t" then maybe you'll have a point; otherwise you're grasping at straws.

    It isn't the "kaka" by itself, but rather the cumulative odor from it's overuse that I'm sensitive too; you two guys must LIVE on curry! ;^)
