And when I it happen to have only an English soundtrack it has mostly subtitles then, AND still I can understand a little bit of your language...
No I think this film has no real deepth, It certainly has been writen for some one who died, but good intentions donīt make a good film.
And it was WAY too larmoyant!!!
I think it's a lot smarter than you think it is...but oh well.
I took the pain to go right now through 3 reviews ( there are so manys! ), the one that match the best with my views of them was at:ttp://www.bbc.co.uk/films/2004/02/25/21_grams_2004_review.shtml
I can produce a review too. The guy you posted still gave the film ***. 21 Grams is not a great movie - it's a good movie...the fact that it's in my top 3 says more about the quality of films over the year than it does about this film.My issue was more about the structiure than the content - which was solid...especially Del Torro's story which was the strongest storyline of the movie.
It was not about the * but the contend of the critic I cited this article..I could have chose one who was REALLY bad...Did I write it was SO bad? I was just expecting more.
Your " Ebert " review is not too far away from my present feeling. If you read trough his lines. Anyway this film is and will remain a failure for me.
And I think more than one will be dissilutioned after a second or more visioning, I bet.
When you like a film I donīt....
So keep blowing.
