Is this film available on dvd/vhs?
I have TWO copies of the Erato compact disc soundtrack...Ravel's trio and sonatas, as performed by Jean-Jacques Kantorow/Philippe Muller/Jacques Rouvier.
Beautiful music, fine performances, and recorded very well, imo.
I've been meaning to track this film down for some time...thanks for the thumbs up!

Clark,Who did the music in the actual film? The cd has "studio recordings of the music in the film," so you are apparantly correct.
BTW, the film has been released on vhs per imdb.com
I checked my local library, to no avail, so I'll probably end up buying it from Amazon or somewhere.
Thanks,
At least that´s what NYT´s critic says (read the article)...Regards

Dunno, I tried once and failed to find out.
My copy is on laserdisc. I don't know about the other formats. There is a lot of music in the film but it's all excerpts.
