  Gladiator. Enjoyable, as an action movie, at the theater.

  On home video you have to pay more attention to the story...and then it tanked.

  Excalibur was atrocious - anytime so I dont blame you for realizing it.

  I was looking at a film made for three-year olds. I guess the fx dazzled a bit, plus all the hype for the 1st viewing.

  The first time I saw it, I thought it was something special. I took a friend the second time. She loved it, but for me it fell flat. Wondering what had happened, I went a third time. After that I knew I had misjudged the movie at first, although I'm still not sure how.
