Because I didn't chew the cud. Yours is the first and only review I've read about the film. I just don't agree with you (didn't like Vol. 1 much).
Follow Ups:
counts for me as well, Steve. As a fellow Central Ohio resident, I'm getting a good karma vibe from you right now regarding Kill Bill II.
I just hate the idea of spending a coupla hours of what is left of my life... in a movie theater watching a bad film.
I guess "maturity" makes one more careful about life choices.
Thanks for your review,
I saw it at AMC Easton Towne Center and it was definitely not a waste of time. However, I made the mistake of going to the Virgin Megastore afterward. They are closing up shop by May 23 and are liquidating inventory. Picked up a lot of nice DVDs for $10 each, but spent so much I had to eat at Taco Bell.BTW, if you were wondering about the remake of Dawn Of The Dead, sneak in to see the first 2 minutes because they are astonishing, but the rest of the film isn't worth it.
Steve,No surprise on Virgin...very expensive place, imo...but I will check out the sale. That's a big store...wonder what will go in.
To bad about the Taco Bell thing...lotta good places to eat there. I like Easton...not your average shopping center.
Thanks for the tip on Dawn/Dead...but it would't be my cup of tea anyway.
Ever been to Studio 35?
Regards,
Gary
Studio 35? No, I haven't been there for movies and a meal. I haven't even been to the Arena Grand yet. I mostly go to the Marcus Crossroads unless I have other business. The theatre I miss the most is the Drexel North, which closed around a decade ago.
