I just saw vol 1 last night, and I'm amazingly ambivalent about it. Yes, it was a good tribute to various asian cinima and comics, but I thought the originals were done better. I didn't really expect much from Kill Bill, and Tarantini delivered just that. I always thought Tarantino was way overrated.Personally, I think Asian flicksof this genre are far superior. Princess Blade and Azumi come to mind.
