  This is a fine example of Eastwood-the-director in his relaxed mode of peaceful reflection and understated humor. I think this is one of Eastwood's better films.

  On that note, I was pleasantly surprised with Blood Work after hearing so many negative things. It was great simple story-telling, too rare these days.

  The plot is stupid and so are the technical and political sides of the movie, but the actors are good enough to save anything.

  Yea, I got a kick out of it too, but only for the old timer actors/star power...I really liked the Jay Leno scene. Don Sutherland was really funny as the old lecher.

  T.L. Jones was good, but he must be almost twenty years younger than the other three...got an opinion on another "oldie" that could have filled Tommy Lee's role?

  Paul Newman would have worked, but that might be to much star power! Redford? Michael Caine?
