In Reply to: T.A.M.I. Show (Does anyone remember this show?) posted by markeetaux on April 20, 2004 at 19:49:36:
Released in 1964. Featuring: The Rolling Stones, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, James Brown, Chuck Berry, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Lesley Gore, Jan and Dean, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, the Beach Boys (cut from most prints), Dusty Springfield, and more. With a bill like that it had to be a great show and it was! It was followed, in 1966, by "The Big T.N.T. Show" which featured some other top acts. How about Ike and Tina Turner, Bo Diddley, Joan Baez, the Lovin' Spoonful, Roger Miller, the Ronettes, and Ray Charles? Not too bad! It wasn't killer like "The T.A.M.I. Show" but nearly so.
