By a fairly large margin. It's easily in my top 5 favorite movies of the 90s.As already said, there are so many scenes and characters in there that could have entire movies made about them. It's an incredibly rich moviegoing experience.
Reservoir Dogs was a bit stilted. Incredible first film, but nowhere near the level of PF.
Jackie Brown is excellent. An under-rated movie. How do you follow a movie like PF and not have it be something of a let down. See JB again. It's a different kind of QT movie, but it holds up remarkably well.
Kill Bill 1 was a blast. Too much of a pure exercise in style without enough surprise in the story for me. Overall, it was kinda obvious. Very enjoyable, but obvious. Seeing 2 tomorrow.
Follow Ups:
I don't think the other QT films come within a mile of Pulp Fiction...but neither does most other films. PF was ground-breaking, and it heavily influenced other directors.
Troy-let us know what you thought of KBII...opinions are widely diverse on this one.
Thanks,
