Not being exposed to the mainstream of German film I've always had the impression that he was not used much as a centerpiece. Surely, Triumph of the Will or anything vaguely mimicing it is verbotten.

Actually we should not forget as there was a cradle in "Mesopotatmien" for our civiliisation, there is one for the FILM too. It was in Germany, from Lang to Murnau, they learn to the rest of the world how to make films.
