Watched this one the other night and really enjoyed it. Vince Vaughan is great as the Lester Long character. Sometimes he's charming, sometimes he seems retarded, sometimes he's a psychopath, sometimes he's ahead of the curve, sometimes he's just a redneck........ quite an interesting personality.
Follow Ups:
I have liked just about everything VV has done. An old buddy of mine IS the Vince Vaughan of "Swingers". Pulls the same crap all the time. Women love him to death. VV needs to refine his essense for the romantically challanged.
Now there's a great flick, RTP.
of V. V., btw, and wish he'd get some better roles. He is far superior to Ben you-know-who.
I also really like this film...the enitre cast does a nice job, imo, and I think the film was a bit overlooked.Neo-noir at a very high level, imo.
I agree...V. Vaugh doens't seem to be very discriminating in his choice of roles...then again, this may not be that easy for a "working actor" on his level of the food chain.
