The boxed set of the extended versions isn't out yet. The boxed set of the theatrical versons comes out next week I beleive. The extendedversions tend to come out in November.

Follow Ups:
... they will wring as much money out of the general public as possible
It's well known to most videophiles that the theatrical version of the trilogy is released first, later to be followed by the extended versions: one usually slimmed down, the other for completists who want extra packaging, statues, and what not.Frankly, I'm glad that Peter Jackson has the DVD format to present the movies in extended versions. In both cases (the first two movies), I found the extended versions more coherent and not just "fattened" with extraneous scenes.
I don't see this as wringing more money out of the public. Some movie goers just want the theatrical versions, others want the extended versions. There is no obligation to own both.
Interestingly, the extended versions of the first two movies were released theatrically beforeand with the release of ROTK. So one could say that there are two theatrical versions of the first two movies and one could also say that they are both fair representations of the director's vision and not some lame revision well after the fact with new footage created after the fact. I also prefer the extended versions of the first two movies.
