...through their disdain (when not open hate) towards culture, books, and the ones atthe bottom of the social ladder. That, and the evoking power of that word "Fahrenheit" when applied to a film, which brings to mind the images of flames burning precious, irreplaceable beings --books in Bradbury´s, human beings in Bush/Bin Laden´s coproduction-- make Moore´s choosing of that name for his film a most appropriate one.

About the last Spanish elections. As you said... "make ... choosing of that name for his film a most appropriate one"
...which is so close to nil...Classics, and Latin, need to be either properly quoted, or left alone.

If you can think of a more appropriate title, let me know.I also kinda liked "Munchen 2004"... get it? Get it?
Which one would be your first choice?

You should know that I refuse to see the black and white only. As many devilish may be in you or in me, as much you may see in everyone else. Rightly so. More or less.
So, also for the " good " side in some one else.
Yet you have a point, the one of misabuse, the one where it is all about in this book.
But I think there was this tendency long ago before the precidency of Mr. Bush, that is the reason of Bradbury book who is visionary as we both knows.
BUT, it is also self defence from our society, and hence we must accept this limited freedom of our in the in coming age.
Video camera and all the rest, who take slowly but with certainity our freedom away.
Restrict area is what is left for us.
We pay now all the sins of the past.
But still better than to be blow up from a bomb, somewhere somehow in time.
As without life, you don´t need any kind of freedom, save the last....This, to be no more on this planet....
