another great film with a script by Paddy Chayevsky. I believe it was his final work before his untimely death.
Was also Peter Finch's last film. He died soon after the film was released.

Given the current trend of escalating violence and crudity in so-called reality TV, Network just might be, in retrospect, prophetic. Great film.
