I obviously never done that, but I was the one serving the said popcorn to the individual attempting such a marathon - albeit only the first two parts.Not a pretty sight!

Have you never conducted your own marathon during really bad weather or when sick?
My most recent:
1. First 4 seasons of the Sopranos (only broke for pizza and cleaned guns throughout)
2. Wings, Paths of Glory, Stalingrad, a Bridge Too Far, the Longest Day, and Tora Tora Tora in one day.
3. Ten Commandments, Exodus, Lawrence of Arabia, Operation Thunderbolt, Black Sunday during a very snowy Passover.

Waitng for the third LOTR four-disc set to come out, but I don't think I'll ever be able to marathon through all three.

I generally don't do many, my latest one probably was Citizen Kane followed by its documentary. Ah, OK, and the Napoleon was pretty long too, but that doesn't happen all too often.But you would have to drill a one inch hole in my head and suck my brain out for me to watch the LOTR - get it, AuPh? He-he...
