Only you guys would appreciate this.A few weeks ago I posted that, by accident, I found that my 6-year old grandson loved my old B&W sci-fi monster/space movies. (Very brief violence, mostly off-screen in shadows, and no bad language).
So the other night we were watching yet another DVD and he turned to me and said, "It's that same woman. She's in all these movies."
So I got to thinking: Barbara Rush, Audrey Dalton, Joan Taylor, Julie Adams, etc etc...all with dark eyebrows, short dark hair, wide eyes, tight white blouse with dark skirt, playing dedicated lab assistants, female scientists, female doctors, girl friends of star gazers,...and I replied, "Yeah, they do look alike."
Follow Ups:
.
She's sexier in wool trousers and a turtleneck than Meg Ryan is naked in In The Cut . Her feisty character can drink the Air Force captain under the table, and there's even a sort of bondage scene where she ties his arms behind his back and kisses him.
=)
"It Conquered The World" and "Not Of This Earth"?For a contrast, fast forward one decade to Hammer horror films and show your grandson Caroline Munro (Hubba! Hubba!).
I'd rank her and Faith Domergue as queen of the B movies.
