I remember feeling very disappointed at 1991's BATMAN, made by the sometimes overrated Tim Burton.
I thought George Miller (Mad MAx/Road Warrior) would have been a perfect director for the BATMAN film.
Hollywood completely screwed-up with Batman....every film in the series just sucks really bad. Just awlful movies. The worst with J. Schumacher directing.
Yeah, yeah millions of people disagree...probably the same millions of people that loved SPEED & TWISTER. 2 more lousy excuses for exposing 35mm film stock.

PS Isolated moments of Batman stand in memory, but I'll go to Frank Miller any time I want a dose of the real thing.
Frank Miller?I prefer the Denny O'Neill/Neal Adams "Batman" of the early 70's.
But if you want the "real" Batman, creator Bob Kane worked off and on for over thirty years in various Batman comic books! Who would know better than he about the "real" Batman? :)
