Loved the first film for its frosty demeanour, back-streets scenes and the 'cold' visual tones in the filming itself - this is a side of Europe I know and this melancholic vein is desiturbingly familiar. One of the reasons the first film was so watchable for me.Must say though, the trailer (01) at the official site bears little or no resemblance to the restrained, authentic dialogue of the actual film. If I had seen that trailer, I wouldn't have bothered with it at all. The actual film had a kind of art house feel to it, perpetuated my a surprisingly good performance by Matt Damon. He really captured the sense of frustration, without histrionics, of his predicament that made the rest of the action work splendidly.
Big J.
