He was as everyone knows one of the great in his film.
He was the perfect match for many a director.

There is a web site set up just after his death. It lists his extraordinary and prolific film, TV , and radio soundtracks. I believe he was one of the first to make extensive use of dissonance and non standard percussive effects.
