Have You even noticed that most if not all computers being shown in a movie are apple? Just wondering why? Is there something to be said here? Does most of hollywood and the actors use apple, not only in movies, but also in their personal lives? Just wondering....

Also, I used to think SGIs ruled the graphics world but 64 bit G5s are probably making serious inroads in the really high end graphics arena.Don't know how easy it is on the Windoze side, but one of the first things I did with a new Mac laptop and a digital camcorder was make home movies. Now there's other tools to make it extremely easy for Mac-based music studios. Usually the dark (Windoze) side is a step behind trying to emulate Macs in the creativity department.

Just because a gadget or pc is used in movies, they're not necessarily using them at home.If you watch scifi movies, you'll often see the venerable Radio Shack SPL meter being used as a prop. Saw it just the other night in Stargate 1. Apparently, in addition to setting up speakers, it can also be used to detect cosmic rays.
I've noticed this for years.I think they are geneally considered more fashionable and hip.
They are more aesthetically pleasing looking.
Many people in the industry use them.
I think all are paying for placing their products!
I wonder if they suck up spyjackers like microsoft? hmmmmm
