Thanks to Patrick for posting on this Lean classic a a few days ago. I finally saw it again last night (Criterion laserdisc) and it is truly delightful, especially Laughton's and Mills' performances. This may be David lean's most charming film. Wonderful acting, music, anfd black and white cinematography.
