I prefered the one with the voice-over. Largely. Not because of its " good ending " but for other reasons.
The director was not happy with " The directors cut " neither!
Letīs wait for the third version.

I gotta agree with you Patrick, I like the voice over version as well...I have both versions on laserdisc, and the VO version just seems more "right" to me...and gives the film a much more neo-noir feel imo.Regards,
