I think it was the second and last of the series starring Chevy Chase. The best in stupid but funny scenes. The point were he had the fat cop on all four squealing like a pig is the reason I have a hernia.

The scene where he is playing the preacher and asks if there is anyone in the audience named "Bill Bob" never fails to kill me. I am laughing now at the thought.
