By now I am used to Hollywood producing more and more shit every year. What surprises me though is how come good actors agree to participate?
And besides - aren't there laws in this country protecting intellectual property?
The book is called "Solaris", and the author is Stanislav Lem.
Two thumbs down.
Follow Ups:
Major sukage. Reminded me of a mix of The Exorcist, Alien, Solaris and bad acid washed down with muddy water.
This was a pretty bad film. The worst film with the best cast that I can recall seeing was "The Road to Wellville." Anthony Hopkins, John Cusack, Matthew Broderick, Colm Meaney, Dana Carvey, Bridget Fonda, Lara Flynn Boyle. What were they thinking?
For me, it's "The Missouri Breaks" with Brando and Nickelson, directed by Artur Penn. I also consider it the worst western ever made.
