I hated "Armagedon" with a passion. "Deep Impact" is a lot better. It's no classic but it is well-done and entertaining in a scary sort of way.Who's the girl (she played Elija Woods girlfriend) who looks like a younger version of Helen Hunt? They aren't sisters are they?

She does look like Helen Hunt, but, no, they're not sisters. She and Elijah Wood were a a good combo as DI's young lovers.Leelee first impressed on TV. Shw was in Eyes Wide Shut amongst other theatrisal and TV movies.

Her best film work was probably "A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries", although check out her smaller role in "Max."
You're right. She was excellent in A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries.She deserves better roles than she's been getting lately.
