Wonderful movie based on a true story. I've always liked David Lynch's directing even if I haven't liked all of his films. No car chases or explosions in this one, just a thoughtful examination of one old-timer's eccentric response to things that matter. Richard Farnsworth was excellent in the lead role. Kinda like a "Wild Strawberries" on a lawnmower.
Yep, this was one of my favourite movies of last year. Who else could in Hollywood coud've done a 10mph road movie about old & ordinary folks and make it come out like a humanist fairy tale (maybe Tim Burton?)
